Will: Mama, how do you make ingredients?
Me: How do you make ingredients? Or how do you make stuff with ingredients?
Will: How do you make ingredients? Like if you use all your ingredients to make ingredients and you don't have any more ingredients to make ingredients, how do you make more ingredients?
It's like he just discovered the culinary equivalent of chicken-and-egg. He's so earnest and yet it seems kinda like he might be on the brink of his head exploding because he can't quite contain the entire concept in his head.

A new post... A new camping season.
Well, it has been a while hasn't it? A new camping season has started and with it a new motivation to make an update. This year finds us with a new camping philosophy. Over the winter we decided that making reservations and fighting the crowds at provincial campgrounds was no longer enjoyable so we have set down roots and now call Wilderness Village our camping home.
So far it has met, and exceeded our expectations. There is lots for the kids and us to do from swimming pools, to a petting zoo, to a huge playground, back woods off road trails, a lake and more!! It has it all and it still feels like a campground. Take a look at some of the pics from the weekend and see what you think.

The Kids Celebrate their 4th and 6th B-days
With their birthdays so close together and the common connection between friends it only makes sense that we would combine their Birthday parties. This year it was Super Hero themed and included fun in a pool and play room.

And we're back!
So many little gems over the past few months that I've been meaning to post...will try to catch up soon.
So what's prompted me to get back to posting? Why, it's this little gem...
Today:
Will (examining a candle on the table): Mommy, why is this candle made from beeswax?
Me: Because that's just where we get the wax for candles from.
Will: But Mommy, bees don't have ears.
Will: Mommy, why are you laughing? Are you crying, Mommy? Why are you crying? Mommy, what's wrong? Are you laughing or crying?
A lot of both!
