I'm thinking someone's becoming a bit too obsessed with Frozen.
After half an hour in bed, Mia gets up because she just *has* to sing "Let it Go" to me. I patiently indulge this; after all, we all get a song stuck in our heads once in a while. But will she go back to bed afterwards? No.
So I repeated my request in her own Frozen language:
Let us go! Let us go!
Let's go straight up to bed!
Let u...s go! Let us go!
Time to rest your tired head.
I don't care if you scream at me.
Let the tantrum rage on!
The noise never bothered me anyway.
She went to bed after that. I like to think her sense of humor + my singing in her language made her see reason and go to bed. But it may have just been her needing to escape my singing.
